The “size” question periodically is raised by newer people being introduced to Young Living Essential Oils. The follow addresses several reasons Young Living Essential Oils are not sold in bulk.

Larger bottles are heavier, more costly to ship. The larger size would generally be cost prohibitive for a lot of people. Transporting larger bottles can easily become impractical especially when traveling by air.
When comparing the size of oil bottles to other companies, understand that other companies do not have the same quality standards as Young Living Essential Oils. As a result, many others are labeled with information that they must be diluted if used directly on the skin, and they must NEVER be taken internally. Most Young Living Essential Oils can be applied directly to the skin and taken internally.

Often people have the idea more is better which is not true for Young Living Essential Oils as they are pure, therapeutic grade essential oils. “A little drop will do ya.” Too much is overkill and a complete waste.

For those interested in applying to a larger area, use a good quality vegetable oil, such as V-6. This will not dilute the effectiveness of the oil, but it will (#1) allow the application of the oil over a larger area of skin, and (#2) diminish some of the sensation a hot oil can give, such as oregano. You will receive the same amount of beneficial action of the number of drops that are used.

Key Point – a little goes a long way and when you understand the power of these essential oils, you will begin to appreciate the cleaning and nutritional lines that include essential oils.
