“Keep your jewelry sparkling! I use Thieves® Household cleaner, diluted, in a small jar. I put my diamond wedding ring into the solution for just a few minutes and it comes out sparkling clean! Use it on any gemstones or gold, but be careful with pearls or opals. The dilution ratio is about a fourth teaspoon cleaner to a half cup of water.”

Essential Oils Bath Products: Thieves Soap

Theives oil and the Theives line of products continue to be one of the most popular categories offered by Young Living Essential Oils. The reason is the results people are experiencing with them. Personally, Theives oil, Immune Defense and Thieves cleaner (for everything including vegetables) are in the must have category.  In the colder months when colds and flu seem to be more prevalent, Thieves oil and cleaners are a great first line of defense. 

A question was raised in the  forum about Theives bar soap and it’s effectiveness as a facial soap.  Here are the answers: 

“I have two bars of Thieves soap in the bathroom.. One in the shower
and one at the washstand. Use both daily, no other facial cleanser seems needed.
.. I use the Thieves bar soap for everything. It is my morning 
face soap. I think it works great. I think it cleans really well…..
 I use either ART moisturizers or Sandlewood Face Moisturizer after
washing, so dryness has not been a problem at all. I would totally
recomend getting it. …. The Thieves bar lasts a good 3+ months for me.
I love the Thieves bar soap. ”

Essential Oils News: Thieves Oil Cleaner Spray Stops Ants

Testimonial From An Essential Oils Product Advocate (so am I and love these examples as much as anyone)

I just had to share this. Yesterday I was washing dishes when an ant walked across the window sill. (We have had ant problems this year.) I grabbed a bottle on the window sill and started spraying and realized it was Thieves cleaner. Those little buggers curled up and died on the spot! I was amazed and I took the bottle outside to try on some regular sugar ants. Same thing! They curled up and died. This Thieves cleaner (which I made a spray from the finished bottle) is really an all around household necessity. So if you have ant problems in your house, don’t throw the old Thieves cleaner bottles away; use them for spray bottles and you will discover many new uses for an already great product.

Essential Oils for Sore Throat and Strep Throat

Spray Thieves Spray in your throats at the first hint
of a scratchy throat. Also spritz your hands with the
spray or use the Thieves Hand Sanitizer after
being out in public.

If you already have strep throat then here are suggested
“essential antibiotic” relief

Gary Young’s antibiotic formula.

10 drops of lemon
8 of mtn savory
3 oregano

The following Pneumonia/Chest Infection formula is from Dr. Friedmann, M.D
(drops)
12 Thieves
6 Oregano
2 Frankincense.

Favorite Essential Oil Formulas for Cold and Flu and Now The Asian Flu

Teri asks: Can you share your favorite cold and flu formulas?

Gary: New virus strains; mutations. the asian flu has different characteristics this time and is more resistant. 2 types – attacks throat and head and also bones. Very aggressive and tremendously resistant.

Favorite Cold and Flu Formulas
Start up the spine:
Oregano
Thyme
Frankincense – Vitaflex this into brain stem and across base of skull.
Gary uses the glass droppers. Put the oil in the dropper and use auricular method, C1 to T1, in between vertebra heads.
Melissa, or Exodus II on spine and skull with 2-3 drops under tongue as tolerated, every hour
Thieves spray in throat or put lozenger in cheek and let melt.
Immupower on feet
Euclyptus Globulus – massage on back in AM/PM
