Frankincense, Myrrh and Balsam (gold) were the 1st 3 oils dating back 10,000
years.

Palo santo (Bursera graveolens, a tree species native to South America (it
occurs in the Gran Chaco and it is found also in the Galapagos Islands and
coastal Ecuador as well) forms tear drops of resin on the bark similar to
Frankincense and has similar properties and similar effect.

Copal is very similar to Frankincense and Copal (derived from the Nahuatl
language word copalli, meaning “incense”) and is found in Mexico and Central
America.

Boswellia sacra from Oman is Gary’s favorite therapeutic Frankincense since
he first began using it in 1996. Boswellia carterii is also very
therapeutic. Boswellia frereana is very fragrant and is usually used for
burning and fragrances and has little or no therapeutic value.

Frankincense distilleries are located in Spain (George Fernando), Nairobi,
Kenya (Sadqa Haq) and recently a distilling operation was established in
Oman. The first cut of the Frankincense tree produces the white resin called
“hojari” and was until recently reserved for the royal families of the
Middle East.

Frankincense, Myrrh and Balsam are known to have DNA repair properties. They
also have cancer prevention properties because of the presence of
alpha-pinenes, boswellic acid, and Incensol which is considered very
powerful for helping those with chronic degenerative diseases.

Only Young Living produces essential oils from both Boswellia carterii and
Boswellia sacra (Sacred Frankincense). They have recently established an
office and distillery in Oman on the Arabian peninsula.

In 2009 Gary had osteophites (spurs) growing from his previously injured

waking up at 2am on morning. He mixed Frankincense with his own blood serum
(after separation from the red blood cells) and did 17 injections into his

Boswellic acid which is found in Frankincense resin and oil has shown much

Just to explain about cell death. Every healthy cell in our body is programmed to die – this is called programmed cell death. However, cancer cells deviate from the programmed cell death and become active. Frankincense oil promotes healthy “programmed” cell death. When the cancer cells then did die, they died in an abnormal way, but they were intact.

In March 19 2009, we issued a press release into 3 continents. We received a lot of media attention from all over the world. “Frankincense oil derived from Boswellia carterii induces cell tumor death in bladder cancer cells”. But are these experiments (which are conducted in a lab, on individual cells and tissue cultures) sufficient for human trials? The answer is “no”. The epithelial (lining) cell of a bladder is only a cell. But when you go back to a whole bladder, there’s an epithelium facing the urine side of the bladder. The whole bladder is different from the whole cell. So we cannot yet say that frankincense oil is useful for bladder cancer treatment. We need pre-clinical trials (those are the ones that take 10 to 20 years).

I’m being asked questions from all over the world. Can I take frankincense oil orally, how much do I need to take, can I take it with chemo? We have no answers as yet to these questions. However, we’ve begun studying frankincense oil’s effects in bladder cancer, on a whole bladder (intact within the person!). We gave the person frankincense oil twice a week for 2 weeks, compared with a different person who was given coconut oil instead. There was a significant difference between the results for the two people. The results showed that Frankincense oil decreased tumor cell growth, and increased tumor cell death.

So will frankincense oil work for every patient? We need to research genetic variations, different cancer types/subtypes, different cancer stages, heterogeneity of cancer within patients, different species of frankincense, different preparation of oils. So the short answer is we don’t know. And to find out requires many years of research. Because of this, other scientists have told me that I shouldn’t pursue this direction in my research. But I love my kids. I hope our next generation can keep on with this research, and we hope their health will be much better than our current condition.

Boswellia sacra produces the highest-quality frankincense

“This is the first cut. But you don’t gather this sap,” he says. “It releases whatever impurities are in the wood. The farmers return after two or three weeks and make a second, and a third, cut. Then the sap comes out yellow, or bright green, or brown or even black. They take this.”

“We learnt about frankincense from our forefathers and they learnt it from theirs” he says. “The practice has been passed down through the generations. We exported the frankincense, and that’s how the families in Dhofar made their livings.”

Scientists have observed that there is some agent within frankincense which stops cancer spreading, and which induces cancerous cells to close themselves down. He is trying to find out what this is.

I wanted to share my most favorite way to use the rose oil which i have shared with many people in my group and have done so myself for years.

Warning Completely intoxicating!!!!

I use an empty Ningxia Red juice glass bottle. (Comment: what is important about this is the size of the bottle and that it is glass. The size is 32oz.) I add 2 drops of Rose oil and fill it up with good clean water and swish it around and sip it slowly.

I personally experience that it moves me quickly and easily into this state of self love and this sweet opened hearted place that is obvious, tangible and lasts! Before I run out of it, I fill it up again with water. I can usually fill it up 5 or 6 times before it runs out and it will still be potent and effective. I hardly ever use it topically and this also makes my rose oils last and last for a very long time! DELICIOUS!!!!

Try it, its the best of the best! Great to drink for both people on a romantic evening, great to drink during a meditation retreat, great to drink ifyou need to have a challenging dialogue and just plain great to drink.

I used M-Graine or Clarity, Ice, Chiro care, upped my water intake to help get what ever was bothering my system out, quietness and darkness. Yes shades even in the house the window shades down. It took 2. 1/2 weeks to get relief. Now when I feel the slightest pain in my head, face, neck I know get M-graine or Clarity on it right away.

Many people feel relief from Three Wise Men and Lavender along the jaw line and sinuses. I think that Ningxia Red is an excellent way to clean the liver which in turn will help clear the sinuses. Peppermint will help to drive the other two oils in and is a great anti-inflammatory.

This might seem like a HUGE oversimplification of a problem, but I’ve had clients experience amazing amounts of relief, so it cannot be discounted. I’d recommend a really good massage therapist. The key is finding someone who is good at neck work/ shoulder work/ upper back work, and possibly someone trained in myofascial release or trigger point work…

For  all who have lost and might lose jobs there is an opportunity to view the situation not as the end but the reason for a NEW Beginning.

When you read the story  of successful people, you will find so many times that they had been laid off 
or were in other dire straits and in retrospect realized that their dilemma  was the best thing that could have happened to them.

Look at your situation  with that thought and begin to focus on things that can get better if you lose 
that job. Think of ideas that might create a new job for you. Do you have  some things you truly love? – think how you can turn that into a career or a  product. While you are still employed, take some classes to get better for your  next job. When you focus on how to improve, you don’t have time to  worry about losing that job.

If you hear there are reductions planned, decide not to worry. Worry makes absolutely no difference to the end result.  So, if you do not lose your job, you worried needlessly. If you do lose your  job, your worry didn’t help any – it just added another month or more to your  fear of losing your job. I suggest you relax. 

Now, I read recently suggestions as to how to make yourself less likely to  be on the layoff list. Those included things like working a bit harder,  adding some new skills to your current skills, make your bosses notice your  diligence and recognizing that you have the company’s best interest in mind rather 
than your own, only.

You can increase you focus on the Young Living business. Start talking to  more people, share with them, figure ways of introducing others to the oils etc  and what they can do for you. Maybe create a team and work together to  achieve the YL business plan as outlined on the website.

As to oils –  Abundance along with visualizing, if filled  with fear – use Valor, Hope, Gratitude, Highest Potential (singles) Bergamot,  Ylang Ylang, cypress, spruce, orange. Filled with Anxiety? Valor, Harmony, 
Joy, Orange, lavender. 

My top choices for your situation would be the Abundance and Valor.
